Adam is the owner of Klein Custom Homes, actively involved in every stage of the building process—from overseeing job sites to sketching custom floor plans with clients. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the trades, he brings a deep understanding of quality craftsmanship and construction standards to every project.

Adam’s passion for architecture began at a young age, often drawing houses from his neighborhood at his desk as a boy. Today, that early passion translates into a sharp eye for design—he personally hand-draws each exterior and floor plan to create homes that are both beautiful and functional.

Known for his ability to turn a client’s list of wants and needs into thoughtful, efficient layouts, Adam is dedicated to building high-quality homes that meet families’ needs without compromising on style or budget. His commitment to detail and personalized service has become the hallmark of Klein Custom Homes.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, cheering on the Vikings, and sailing during the summer months.

Julie is the Vice President of Klein Custom Homes and works alongside her husband, Adam. Born and raised in the Fargo-Moorhead area, she brings a strong connection to the community and plays a vital role in the business operations. Julie manages the accounting, contracts, and warranty services—ensuring the building and financing process stays organized and on track for lenders, trade partners, and internal teams.

Julie and Adam are proud parents to two daughters—Addie (3) and Alix (1)—who remind them daily of the importance of building homes that families can grow in and enjoy for years to come. Julie’s strengths in organization, accuracy, and efficiency help keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, planning events, and heading to the lake during the summer months.

Sawyer is the Assistant Project Manager at Klein Custom Homes. He has a strong background in both project oversight and hands-on fieldwork. At Klein Custom Homes, he works closely alongside owner Adam Klein to help manage daily operations across all active job sites. He plays a key role in coordinating with subcontractors, keeping timelines on track, and ensuring each home is built to the highest standard.

With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Sawyer has held roles ranging from framing and finish carpenter to senior project manager. His well-rounded background allows him to bring both practical expertise and leadership to every phase of the building process.

Born and raised in Ada, MN, he continues to live there today with his son, Hudson. In his free time, he enjoys cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, golfing, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.

Joslyn is the Interior Designer at Klein Custom Homes. With a degree in Interior Design from NDSU and hands-on experience in the residential construction field, she brings a set of fresh eyes and a new perspective to projects. Her expertise lies in client/vendor relationships, residential finishes, and computer-aided interior renderings and drawings. 

Her favorite part of the construction process is the interior selections meetings, where Joslyn meets one-on-one with the client to discuss options for flooring, lighting, cabinetry, and more. She uses her creativity and organizational skills to manage selections and present a design solution unique to each project. Much like the rest of the Klein Custom Homes team, she believes that building your home should not be stressful; it should be exciting. 

Outside of work, Joslyn enjoys spending time on the lake with friends and family, living an active lifestyle, and enjoying a good book.
